I believe everyone carries worth. Some show it with care, some with boldness, some in ways that are quiet or difficult to name. But it is there, always.
At times, that worth shows up as resistance. As distance, or defensiveness. I do not think that makes it any less real. Often it is just a way of protecting something that matters.
I hope we learn to see beyond the surface. To recognise what sits underneath the noise or the silence. When someone feels truly seen, something shifts. They soften. They stand a little taller.
It does not take much to recognise someone’s value. Just a little attention. A little space. The willingness to look again.
